Stephen Dubberly
Dr. Stephen Dubberly is a member of the faculty of the College of Music at the University of North Texas, serving as music director of UNT Opera and teaching courses in opera repertoire. He is also associate conductor and chorus master for Fort Worth Opera. He has conducted for Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Des Moines Metro Opera, the Knoxville Opera Company, San Antonio Opera, Amarillo Opera, Abilene Opera, Utah Lyric Opera, American Bel Canto Opera, and the Teatro Goldoni in Venice, Italy. Stephen began his musical training in Montevideo, Uruguay, and received three degrees, including Doctor of Musical Arts, from Yale University. He lectures frequently for the Dallas Opera Company.
