This year marked our Tenth Lois Alba Aria Competition and one of our largest groups of inspired singers so far. It was an energetic competition with singers arriving from coast to coast and beyond. Our judges were enthusiastic and very complimentary as to progress our singers demonstrated as well as the way they encouraged their peers.
In ten years of operation, we have been blessed by patrons who have given graciously from their savings and also their time in order to help singers reach higher goals and perfect their talents. Our singers have collectively enjoyed over one hundred thousand dollars in prize money and for the very first time, this year, every finalist received an award!
